Guess who's back, back again...our former RISER student Jordan!  With her freshman year now complete, Jordan Luetke joins us again for the summer. Excited to work with you again!

Elena matched in OB/GYN at St. Luke's Hospital, April Matched into Neurology at Cooper University Hospital and Katie matched into Pediatrics at NY Medical College-Westchester Medical Center. From SOM, Jenn matched in Pathology at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Maftuna matched in General Surgery at Inspira Health, and Muskan matched in Anesthesia at Georgetown University Hospital. Well done ladies. Congrats to all!

Good news! Dr. Carabetta received 2 New Jersey Health Foundation grants! One to develop novel antimicrobial urinary catheters with Dr. Vega's team, and the other to explore bacteriophage therapy to combat A. baumannii.

Welcome to the team Pritkumar (Rowan University, master's student)! He will be collaborating with Dr. Jagadish Torlapati (Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rowan) to work on a bioremediation project.

Maxwell, in collaboration with the Caputo and Hettinger labs published a manuscript titled "Silver (I) and Silver (II) Oxide Films for Biomedical Implants: Synthesis, Stability, Ion Release, and Antibacterial Efficacy" in the Journal of Biomedical Materials Research. Congrats!
